4/16/2009 Charlotte, NC - Dayton International Tire Recycling (DITR), LLC, will launch a new website and logo with Zirez Design. DITR selected Zirez Design because of their clean and modern design capabilities.

DITR is Ohio-based and will support the demand for recycled processed rubber and provide a means of disposal for waste tires. Their proposed plant is scheduled to open in late spring and will focus on tires sized for semi-trucks, a market currently untouched in the Ohio area.

The granulated rubber created from the used tires can be used in construction, landscaping, playgrounds, sports fields, automotive materials and asphalt roads-which can make them last 15 years or more with enhanced safety characteristics. The scrap steel from the tire will be sold locally to metal recycling plants. The whole tire is capable of being reclaimed and recycled utilizing a more environmentally friendly process with no waste or contamination.

DITR is a local privately held limited liability company providing a means of disposal for millions of waste tires generated each year. DITR's proposed industrial plant for buffing and granulating used tires will use efficient and environmentally friendly processes focusing on the semi-truck and off-road tire sector in the tri-state area.
